Install the mobile app

The mobile app is the map in your pocket. There’s no sign-up on mobile and no way to accept an invite there; you sign in with the account you already have.

Install and sign in

  1. Install Turfile from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android), then open it.

  2. On the sign-in screen (“Sign in to manage your property assets.”), enter your Email (placeholder: “superintendent@course.com”) and Password. Same credentials as the web.

  3. Tap Sign in (it reads “Signing in…”). Your course map loads.

  4. After your first sign-in, Turfile offers Face ID: “Enable Face ID?” “Sign in faster next time with Face ID.” Tap Enable or Not now. With it on, the app signs you in automatically; there’s a “Use Face ID” link on the sign-in screen and a “Use password” fallback.

Permission prompts

Right after the map appears:

  1. Location comes first, so the map can show where you’re standing.
  2. Notifications follows a few seconds later, so team activity can reach you. Decline it and the app won’t ask again; you can turn notifications on later in your phone’s Settings.

Camera and photo access aren’t requested up front. The app asks the first time you take or attach a photo.

Working offline

No signal? The sign-in screen shows a banner, “No internet connection”: “Connect to Wi-Fi or cellular data to sign in.” You need a connection to sign in.

If something’s not working

Sign in with the exact email your invite went to, and the same password you use on the web. Forgot it? You can reset your password right from the phone. Still stuck, or the app won’t let you in? Reach out to us at support@turfile.com.

One thing worth knowing: there’s no sign-up screen on mobile. If you’re brand new, accept your invite on the web first, then sign in here.
