Schedule and track inspections

Inspections are how you stay ahead of failures instead of chasing them, catching the weeping valve before it floods a green. The Inspection Scheduler puts every irrigation type on a repeating clock, sorts what’s due into one list, and stamps each item when someone signs off. The toolbar button wears a badge with your overdue count.

  1. Click Inspection scheduler on the left toolbar. The “Inspection Scheduler” panel opens.

  2. Switch to the Settings tab: “Tune how often each irrigation asset needs an inspection…”

  3. Drag each type’s slider to its rhythm, 0 to 52 weeks, shown as “Every N weeks”. Leave a type at 0 and it never comes due.

  4. Click Save Settings.

Cadences are per type: all heads share one rhythm, all valves another. There are no per-item or per-person schedules, no calendar view, and no notifications. The Upcoming list and the toolbar badge are the system.

The Upcoming tab is the working list. Filter by type, hole, and area; items sort by urgency: “never checked” first, then “N days overdue”, then “check within N days”. Click any row and the map flies to that item.

Every item’s Details tab carries the same status on its “Last Inspection” card, so whoever’s standing at the head sees the clock without opening the scheduler.

There’s no separate inspection form. Signing off is one action on the item:

Open the item and click Currently Works on its Details tab. Turfile logs that you “observed this item as fully functional.” and resets the inspection clock.

The “System Analytics” widget on the map tracks the payoff: its “Preventative” wheel shows how many items are up to date against their cadence. Until a schedule is saved in Settings, it reads “No schedule config”.

“No inspection cadence configured for these filters.” (Mobile.) The types you’re filtered to have their sliders at 0. An Owner or Management member sets cadences in Settings on the web.

You don’t see the Settings tab. You’re Tech Staff. The Upcoming list is yours, but cadences are Owner and Management only.

The analytics wheel says “No schedule config”. No cadence saved yet. Set the sliders and click Save Settings.

Everything says “never checked”. Turfile only knows what’s been marked. Work the list with Currently Works (web) or the checkmark (mobile) and the statuses will spread out.

You expected an email or push reminder. There isn’t one. The overdue badge on Inspection scheduler and the Upcoming list are the reminders.
