How work flows in Turfile

Issues are how you keep track of problems and jobs you spot out on the property. They work the same way in every section of Turfile, so once your crew knows the loop, nothing falls through the cracks.

You notice something that needs attention, so you drop it on the map as an issue. There are two ways to do that:

  • Attach it to mapped infrastructure. Working in a section like Irrigation, Drainage, or Trees? Pin the issue right to the head, drain line, or tree it belongs to.
  • Drop it anywhere on the course. A job that doesn’t belong to any mapped asset, like a washout or a downed limb, goes on the Home map as a custom pin, wherever you want it.

Either way, that issue stays alive until it’s fixed. It lives in the issues panel on both web and mobile, so it can’t get buried in a text thread or wiped off a grease board on Friday.

Need someone to handle it? Assign it as a to-do. They get a notification on their phone, and the job lands in their list with a due date.

When the work’s done, whoever fixed it marks the issue solved. That’s the finish line: the issue clears off the live list, its to-do disappears with it, and the whole story, from first report to final photo, is saved to History.

Trees run this same loop under a different name: work orders.

One note on permissions: Owners and Management report problems and hand out the to-dos; the crew resolves what’s assigned to them. Details in Roles and permissions.
